CHRISTINA JARA
Owner, Master Aesthetician
Christina was inspired to become an aesthetician when she found herself struggling with acne as an adult and went to a dermatologist at a med spa. She received skin care treatments by a medical aesthetician and was hooked after that. Christina's service provider played such an important role in the healing of her acne, not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well.
Christina's background was health care and special education. She decided to take the leap of faith and go to school to become an aesthetician, and within two years of being an aesthetician Isella Day Spa was born! Throughout the many years Isella has been operating, her heart kept bringing her back to the reason she got into this business in the first place. She decided to obtain her master aesthetic license, brought on a medical director and started changing the course of her business. Sixteen years later–– that dream has evolved into Isella Aesthetics!
SONJA MIDDENDORF
Master Aesthetician
Sonja has been an Aesthetician since 2014, after studying at the Salon Professional Academy. She obtained her Master Aesthetics license from Washington Laser Institute, working alongside dermatologists and improving her expansive knowledge of skincare practices, procedures, and products.
Sonja chose a career as a Master Aesthetician because she derives joy from helping people feel beautiful in their skin. Her favorite service at Isella is Microneedling, and her favorite product is Jan Marini's Age Intervention Retinol Plus.

Sonja is from the PNW, spending her childhood in Port Orchard, Wa. When she's not in the treatment room, she can be found enjoying live music, a Seahawks game, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
MICHELLE SIMON
Receptionist
Michelle has been a licensed professional in the salon and spa industry for 34 years, specializing in hair and makeup artistry. She has extensive training and pursues continued education on current services and product knowledge. She enjoys all aspects of hospitality and the generous reception of Isella’s guests, striving to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
Her favorite service at Isella is the Dermapeel facial and her favorite product is Jan Marini’s C-Esta Serum. Originally from Northeast Ohio, Michelle has lived around the globe but has come to settle in the PNW where she enjoys the mountains, ocean, and year-round gardening.
